James S. Rigby, Jr., CPA/ABV, ASA is a managing director of The Financial Valuation Group (FVG) and president of The Financial Valuation Group of California, Inc. FVG is a financial consulting firm specializing in business and intellectual property valuations, litigation and consulting. FVG is a founding member of the Financial Consulting Group, a national association of professional service firms dedicated to excellence in valuation, litigation and financial consulting.

Mr. Rigby has over 25 years of professional experience, including valuation related services and financial consulting. He has provided expert testimony related to valuations and consulting services related to international expansions, mergers & acquisitions, intellectual property and strategic planning. He is bilingual, utilizing his English and Spanish throughout the American continents.

Mr. Rigby has served on various business valuation/litigation committees of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the American Society of Appraisers, and other professional associations. He is the co-author of multiple continuing education courses and articles published in a variety of professional journals. Mr. Rigby has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Bryan College and a Masters of Business Administration degree from Woodbury University. He holds the AICPA's Accreditation in Business Valuation (ABV) and also is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) with the American Society of Appraisers.
